Pasadena Business Association
The PBA holds a special place in our hearts as it was the first business association/networking organization that we joined shortly after the company was founded in 2014. We usually participate in their annual Trade Show and Crab Feast. They’re also a client of ours as we service their merchant account.
Northern Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce
We’ve been a member of the NAACCC since 2016, and they’ve been an integral part of our growth over the years. They’ve assisted with both of our ribbon cuttings as we’ve grown and relocated. We’ve made many, many meaningful connections through the NAACCC over the years. They’re also clients of ours as we service their merchant account.
Greater Severna Park & Arnold Chamber of Commerce
We’ve been members of the GSPACC since 2019 when we moved our office from Pasadena to Severna Park. It’s been amazing to see how they’ve grown and improved since Liz League took over as the CEO. The GSPACC nominated Magothy Payments for the SBA’s Minority Business of the Year, but the event was canceled due to COVID and a winner was never selected. They’re also clients of ours as we service their merchant account.
Greater Crofton Chamber of Commerce
We’ve been a member of the GCCC since 2019. Every chamber of commerce is different and has an area where they shine in relation to the other chambers. The GCCC [arguably] has the best and most networking events – especially in regards to virtual events now with COVID – and they’re always well attended. They’re also clients of ours as we service their merchant account.
BNI Millersville Wednesday Lunch
We’ve been a member of the Millersville Wednesday Lunch chapter of BNI since 2016 and have had the distinct pleasure of watching it grow into the Flagship Chapter of AACO. Our CEO, Jaron Rice, has held the offices of President, Vice President, and Growth Coordinator at various times over the years. They’re also clients of ours, both the local chapter and the region (BNI4Shore), as we service their merchant accounts.
Better Business Bureau of Greater Maryland
Magothy Payments is accredited by the BBB of Greater Maryland and has an A+ rating. We’re also the first merchant services provider to win the coveted Torch Award for Ethics in the 102 year history of the organization. Mr. Rice also sits of the Board of Directors and the Finance Committee of the BBB of Greater Maryland. They’re also clients of ours as we service their merchant account.
South Shore Church
Jaron and his wife Jessica are both members and volunteers of South Shore Church. Jaron is also a non-staff pastor and assists the other pastors in caring for the members. Aside from caring for his family, laboring alongside other Godly men to shepherd the flock at South Shore Church is the most important work that Jaron does.
